Job Summary
Welcome Coordinator responsible for greeting patients, managing front-office operations, verifying insurance and collecting copays, maintaining multiple schedules, updating patient information in the EHR, assisting with forms, scheduling and outreach, coordinating transportation, processing medical records, and handling calls and messages to support a warm, patient-centered clinic experience; based in Asheville, NC with a M-F 8-5 schedule and travel within Western North Carolina to support across clinics; requires 1-2 years of customer-service experience in a medical-office setting and US work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years minimum experience in a customer service and customer-facing role
- previous clerical experience in a medical office setting
- US work authorization
