Job Summary
The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health serves as the face of the clinic, creating an inclusive environment and delivering high-touch assistance to patients and guests. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, conducting visit check-ins, assisting with required forms, collecting co-pays, updating patient information in the EMR, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, managing phone lines and outbound messages, handling faxes, and maintaining the Welcome and Community Room areas. The role may involve occasional travel to other centers in the region. Required skills include strong computer skills, proficiency with Google Suite, professional phone etiquette, and US work authorization; bilingual abilities in Spanish, Polish, or Russian (or other languages spoken by the local communities) are valued. Some college and prior customer service experience are strongly preferred. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a base pay range of $17.00-$28.46 per hour, with potential bonuses or incentives.
