Job Summary
Welcome Center Attendant at the YMCA responsible for customer service, membership sales, program enrollment, facility safety and cleanliness, and promoting the YMCA brand. Serves as the first point of contact for visitors, greets guests, assists with opening/closing, verifies memberships, registers memberships and processing payments, provides information about programs, offers facility tours, handles program reservations, reports facility or equipment issues, supports member retention and the Annual Campaign, and maintains a positive, helpful demeanor to uphold YMCA values. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred), CPR/First Aid within 30 days, and ability to pass a background check; strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with multi-line phones and computer software.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- CPR and First Aid required within 30 days of employment
- Must pass criminal background check and authorization to work with children under Georgia DoL and YMCA guidelines

- Ability to multi-task and provide excellent customer service
