Job Summary
Greet members and guests warmly, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact. Act as a positive ambassador for the Granite YMCA by connecting members with programs and services while serving as the primary resource for member concerns and problem-solving. Process memberships, program registrations, and financial transactions, and sell memberships and programs by providing cause-driven facility tours. Communicate facility usage, programs, and events accurately to ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong. This part-time role offers a competitive hourly rate between $13.75 and $15.25, including paid time off, a free YMCA membership, and tuition discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience handling financial transactions preferred
- Proficiency with computers and basic software (Word, Excel, Outlook or similar)
- Experience with SGA or similar membership software preferred
