Job Summary
Simplify and optimize data collection for environmental, occupational, and health protection (EHS) by automating data consolidation from diverse sources and implementing automated data linkages with supporting documentation. Establish and refine automated plausibility and quality checks for EHS data while creating dashboards, analyses, and visualizations to support EHS reporting. Prepare data and develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders, contributing to environmental, sustainability, and climate protection projects. Assist in analyzing environmentally relevant key figures and processes alongside administrative tasks within the EHS department. Requires a current degree in a natural science field, basic chemical understanding, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with ideal experience in Power BI or Python. Full-time contract with a maximum of 18 hours per week at the Hamburg location.
Required Qualifications
- Laufendes Studium einer naturwissenschaftlichen Fachrichtung, beispielsweise: Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement, Umweltwissenschaften, Umweltingenieurwesen, Chemie, Verfahrenstechnik oder vergleichbare Studiengänge
- Grundlegendes chemisches Verständnis, um Stoffströme und potenzielle Auswirkungen von Chemikalien auf Abfall-, Luft- und Wasserpfade nachvollziehen und bewerten zu können
- Interesse an den Themen industrieller Umweltschutz, Klimaschutz, Umwelttechnik und Nachhaltigkeit
- Gute Kenntnisse in Microsoft Excel
- Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Strukturierte, selbstständige und analytische Arbeitsweise
Desired Qualifications
- Idealerweise erste Erfahrungen mit Power BI, Python oder anderen Datenanalyse- und Automatisierungstools
- Affinität zu Datenmanagement, Digitalisierung und Prozessoptimierung
