ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Associate greets customers, answers questions, resolves concerns in a polite, professional manner; assists in identifying and fulfilling customer orders accurately and promptly; operates front-end scanning equipment and register, bags merchandise, and processes transactions with various payment methods; contacts customers by phone for questions/concerns; uses picker devices and console to ensure accuracy; stays informed about weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers; maintains accuracy in transactions and cash handling; follows security measures and cash drawer procedures; adheres to policies on sale of tobacco and alcohol; maintains sanitation and cleanliness per health/OSHA guidelines; disposes of trash properly; collaborates with coworkers to ensure smooth department/store function; seeks continuous improvement of performance and adherence to PPE requirements; may assist in other departments.
