Identify and shop customer orders accurately, bag merchandise, and process transactions using cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons. Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and store layout, ensure proper security measures and cash drawer accounting, and follow legal guidelines for tobacco and alcohol sales. Perform general sanitation duties, adhere to cleaning schedules and OSHA requirements, and dispose of trash properly. Cooperate with co-workers and superiors to ensure smooth department function while utilizing provided personal protective equipment.
