Job Summary
Analyze freight daily to ensure correct classifications and weights, verifying measurements in the AS400/SAP system database. Measure, reweigh, and verify freight classifications to guarantee accurate billing and increase revenue while maintaining a high inspection percentage. Manage all correspondence regarding the local Weight and Research program, monitor emails, and ensure compliance with company and government regulations. Motivate employees to participate in the reweigh program and strive for continuous improvement in service center operations. Work any shift determined by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong operational background and knowledge, preferably in the trucking industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work any shift which will be determine by business needs
- Comprehends and ensures compliance with company and government regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with rating or inspections preferred
