Job Summary
Operate truck scale and weigh inbound and outbound loads while generating scale tickets and load documentation. Enter daily transactions into QuickBooks, assist with billing and recordkeeping, and report employee hours for payroll processing. Communicate with drivers, customers, and plant personnel to maintain organized records of materials, loads, and deliveries. Ensure accuracy of data entry and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This stable, long-term role in a growing aggregate/quarry facility supports daily operations with a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in office, accounting, or scale house environment
- Strong knowledge of: Billing and invoicing
- Strong knowledge of: Customer account management
- Proficiency in: QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Proficiency in: Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in aggregate, construction, trucking, or ready-mix industry strongly preferred
- Dispatch coordination (preferred)
- Experience with scale systems/ticketing software
- Knowledge of materials (rock, sand, base, etc.)
- Understanding of hauling logistics and trucking coordination
