Job Summary
Weighmaster Ferrous responsible for weighing vehicles (full and empty), determining metal grade for inventory, handling required paperwork, and coordinating with dispatch, drivers, and customers to ensure accurate weighing, scheduling, and problem resolution. Role involves interacting with customers about materials, working with scrap-yard staff, ensuring end-of-day totals are reported, and maintaining safe, clean work areas with adherence to dress code and PPE. Candidates should have basic math skills and be willing to learn metal sorting and equipment maintenance; high school diploma or GED preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Regular attendance and safe work practices are essential.
Required Qualifications
