Job Summary
Weighs and scales ingredients according to manufacturing work orders, verifies correct weights, and properly tags ingredients to form kits for both manufacturing facilities. Maintains inventory levels, alerts when low, performs monthly raw ingredient inventory counts, scans and stores ingredients in designated locations, completes production paperwork designed to document information not captured by ASC system, and conducts general cleanup while upholding GMP and cGMP standards. Follows FIFO for raw ingredient lot numbers, supports teammates to meet output targets, maintains housekeeping and safety procedures, and adheres to all applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret miscellaneous drawings and schematics
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance while stocking, storing, and maneuvering around the work area
- Able to stand on feet for 10+ hours
- Must be able to work in a team environment, possess good morale, be motivated and communicate openly
- Responsible for ensuring proper housekeeping levels are maintained
- Ensures that all safety and security procedures are followed
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
- Ensures all good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) are maintained
