Job Summary
On-call Hospice RN available weekdays (Monday–Friday) providing compassionate nursing care during weeknight hours. Responsible for timely clinical support, symptom management, and emotional guidance; delivers remote and in-person assessments, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, documents interactions per regulatory standards, and offers patient/family education and support. Requires an active US RN license and at least two years of clinical nursing experience in hospice/palliative settings. CHPN or related certification and hospice EMR experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice within the United States
- Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and symptom management
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Availability to work weeknight shifts Monday through Friday as on-call nurse
