Job Summary
As a Volleyball Official, enforce the i9 Sports rulebook during games, set up and break down equipment, keep time and score, and act as an on-court coach to promote sportsmanship and a safe, educational environment. Responsibilities include teaching core concepts, assisting practice drills, guiding volunteer coaches, providing excellent customer service to players/coaches/spectators, and maintaining a positive attitude. The role is a part-time contractor position with weekend shifts across the North Inland Empire cluster (Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario, Chino Hills, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley). Requires reliable transportation, willingness to work varying weekend/evening hours, and completion of a background check. Compensation is paid per game on a weekly basis, tied to the number of games worked.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Successful completion of a National Criminal Background Check is required.
- Must have a smartphone with internet capability.
