Job Summary
Join our team as a Volleyball Official and help ensure a fun, educational, and safe environment for players during weekend games. Responsibilities include enforcing rules from the i9 Sports rulebook, teaching core concepts like sportsmanship, setting up and breaking down equipment, keeping time and score, providing excellent customer service, and assisting volunteer coaches during practices. This is a part-time contractor role with weekend shifts in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho area, requiring reliable transportation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends. A National Criminal Background Check is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
- Must have a smartphone with internet capability
- Successful completion of a National Criminal Background Check is required
