Job Summary
Part-time contracted Youth Tennis Instructor needed to develop and deliver tennis lessons across multiple South Inland Empire locations (Eastvale, Norco, Corona, Riverside, Chino Hills, Jurupa Valley). Responsibilities include designing age-appropriate lessons, teaching techniques, promoting sportsmanship, leading structured practice sessions, providing coaching feedback, ensuring participant safety, maintaining attendance records, and coordinating with staff. Requires 2+ years of youth coaching, strong tennis knowledge, excellent communication, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and flexible hours including weekends. Preferred USPTA or PTR certification and experience with competitive play or camps.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or coaching tennis to youth
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children and a passion for promoting physical and personal development
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- USPTA or PTR certification (preferred)
- Experience playing competitive tennis at high school/college/pro level (preferred)
- Experience organizing tennis camps or workshops (preferred)
