Job Summary
Part-time contractor Weekend Youth Tennis Instructor responsible for delivering youth tennis lessons across the South Inland Empire (Eastvale, Norco, Corona, Riverside, Chino Hills, Jurupa Valley) with rotating seasonal venues. Deliver age-appropriate instruction, lead drills and games, promote sportsmanship, provide feedback, ensure safety, track attendance, and coordinate with staff. Requires minimum 2 years of youth tennis teaching/coaching, strong tennis technique knowledge, excellent communication, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and weekend availability. Preferred USPTA or PTR certification and experience organizing camps.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or coaching tennis to youth
- Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Preferred Qualifications: USPTA or PTR certification
- Experience playing competitive tennis at the high school, college, or professional level
- Experience organizing and conducting tennis camps or workshops
