Job Summary

Weekend Youth Tennis Instructor responsible for developing and delivering tennis lessons tailored to varied age groups and skill levels.Responsibilities include teaching fundamental techniques, rules, and strategies; promoting sportsmanship and inclusive participation; organizing structured practice sessions and drills; providing constructive, individualized coaching; ensuring participant safety; maintaining attendance records; and communicating with parents about progress. Requires 2+ years of youth tennis coaching experience, strong interpersonal skills, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and flexibility to work weekends across multiple rotating venues in the North Inland Empire cluster (Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario, Chino Hills, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley). Preferred credentials include USPTA or PTR certification and experience organizing camps/workshops.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or coaching tennis to youth
  • Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation to all cities in the cluster
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on program needs
  • USPTA or PTR certification (preferred)
