Job Summary
Part-time weekend Youth Tennis Instructor needed to deliver engaging tennis lessons to children across the North Inland Empire at rotating venues. Responsibilities include developing and delivering lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels, teaching techniques, promoting sportsmanship and safety, organizing structured practice sessions and drills, providing individualized coaching, maintaining attendance records, and communicating progress to parents. Requires 2+ years of youth tennis coaching experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and availability on weekends; preferred USPTA or PTR certification and prior experience organizing tennis camps or workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or coaching tennis to youth
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, rules, and strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young players
- Reliability and punctuality in managing groups of young athletes
