Job Summary
Conduct weekend youth soccer officiating across Eastvale, Norco, Corona, Riverside, Chino Hills, and Jurupa Valley, enforcing the i9 Sports rulebook to ensure a safe, educational environment. Set up and break down equipment, keep accurate time and scores, and actively teach sportsmanship concepts while supporting volunteer coaches with drills and instruction. Maintain a positive attitude, provide exceptional customer service to players and families, and prioritize player safety through proactive awareness. Requires at least two years of experience as a player, coach, or official, a smartphone with internet access, and a successful National Criminal Background Check. Compensation is $18.00 per game for a part-time contractor role with rotating seasonal venues in the South Inland Empire.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to all cities in the South Cluster (Eastvale, Norco, Corona, Riverside, Chino Hills, and Jurupa Valley)
- At least 2 years of experience as a player, coach, or official in the specific sport
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings, for the whole season (approximately 7 weeks)
- Must successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check
