Job Summary
Weekend Soccer Official for i9 Sports—enforce rules, promote sportsmanship, and manage field setup during weekend games. Responsibilities include enforcing the rulebook, teaching fair play, overseeing equipment setup/teardown, and time/scorekeeping tailored to players’ age groups. Serve as an Inspiring Coach and team player, delivering exceptional customer service to players, families, and colleagues. Requires strong communication, 2+ years of soccer experience in any role, initiative, safety awareness, and a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings. Must have a smartphone and pass a National Criminal Background Check.
Required Qualifications
- Sport Savvy: Possess at least 2 years of experience as a player, coach, or official in the specific sport.
- Master Communicator: Effectively connect with players, coaches, and spectators through clear, positive, and engaging communication.
- Self-Directed Problem Solver: Demonstrate initiative and the ability to tackle challenges that arise during practices and games independently.
