Job Summary
Weekend Basketball Official needed to enforce i9 Sports rules, create a fun, safe, and educational experience, set up/break down equipment, keep time and score, and support volunteer coaches. Responsibilities include communicating clearly with players/coaches/spectators, demonstrating core concepts, maintaining a positive attitude, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requires 2+ years of experience as a player/coach/official in the sport, ability to work weekends/evenings for the full season (~7 weeks), smartphone with internet access, and a National Criminal Background Check. Independent contractor paid per game with weekly payouts based on games completed. Location cluster includes Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario, Chino Hills, Eastvale, and Jurupa Valley; travel between rotating venues and seasonally assigned locations.
