Job Summary
The Weekend Wound Care Nurse RN is responsible for providing superior customer service and nursing care to residents, performing skin treatments, and ensuring compliance with treatment orders from physicians. Responsibilities include conducting thorough audits of new admissions, updating care plans, performing wound care and skin assessments, and providing education to staff on preventative measures. The role requires effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams, as well as supervision of subordinate staff. The ideal candidate must possess a current RN or LPN license and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current State License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- C.P.R. Certified
