Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of automotive glass while accurately picking, packing, and loading customer orders. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely, conducting quality checks to ensure products are free from defects. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and participate in cycle counts. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of fragile materials. Keep the warehouse clean and organized by sweeping floors and removing debris. Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA regulations while communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers. Work Friday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at a rate of $21.50/hour with a $2.00 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow established procedures
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping/receiving documentation
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner
- Conduct quality checks to ensure glass products are free from defects and meet company standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and participate in cycle counts
- Follow proper handling and safety procedures to minimize product damage and ensure workplace safety
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA regulations
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience, especially handling fragile materials, is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
