Job Summary
Weekend Baseball Coordinator responsible for empowering volunteer coaches, delivering the i9 Sports experience, observing and assisting coaches, and hands-on involvement with practices and games across multiple age groups. Responsible for setting up and breaking down fields, keeping time and score, enforcing rules, teaching core concepts and sportsmanship, and providing customer service. Requires reliable transportation and ability to cover a rotating North Cluster including Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario, Chino Hills, Eastvale, and Jurupa Valley. Independent contractor paid based on games completed, with weekend-only shifts and seasonally rotating locations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 Years of sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable Transportation to and from the venue workplace
- Must pass National Criminal Background Check
- Must have a smartphone with internet capability
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (~7 weeks)
