Weekend Unit Manager

Job Summary
Monitor and supervise weekend direct care team members across all houses, ensuring 24-hour safety, health needs, and therapeutic environment standards. Manage house and school systems, evaluate staffing ratios, and make decisions regarding campus coverage and safety. Train team members in CPR, First Aid, and CPI, becoming an instructor within six months. Document patient behaviors, emotional status, and interventions; log incidents and coordinate follow-ups with the Unit Director and Training Director. Walk through PRTF/QRTP protocols, respond to client crises, and address inappropriate staff behavior using video evidence. Provide ongoing staff training in trauma-informed care, crisis prevention, and de-escalation. Complete on-call reports, debriefings, and periodic video spot-checks of all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
- One year experience with adolescent treatment
- Excellent performance record
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Ability to maintain professionalism
- Working knowledge of emotionally disturbed adolescents
- Must become CPI and CPR/First Aid instructor within 6 months of assuming the position
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Experience working in residential care, behavioral health, youth services, or a related field
- Ability to manage schedules, staffing, crises, and multiple responsibilities effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Good driving skills
- Valid Arkansas driver's license
- Eligible for agency insurance
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to contain and restrain patients
- Must maintain a current tuberculosis skin test
