Job Summary
Manage after-school tennis classes for ages 3–10 and group clinics, instructing students using provided lesson plans while transporting and setting up equipment. Take attendance, interact with parents and school staff, and provide individual feedback to each student by session end. Capture photos of students in action for documentation. Attend a two-day training session to familiarize yourself with the program. Work flexible weekday and weekend hours, 1–1.5 hours per class, with a maximum of 2–5 hours weekly. Candidates must be 19+, vaccinated, and live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Required Qualifications
- At least High school or equivalent
- Must be 19+ years old upon application
- Have reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula
- Willingness to undergo a live scan background check before working
- Must be vaccinated
- Candidates need to be local to the US or already have a necessary working VISA
- Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports
- Flexible, reliable, punctual, professional, and has an enthusiastic approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Resilient, positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Enjoy working with kids and professionally managing a class
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for weekday shifts
- Must be available for after-school programs
- Must be available for group clinics
- Must be available for private lessons
- Must be available for camps
- Must be available for 1 to 1.5 hours in length classes
- Must be available for start times between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- Must be available for group clinic times between 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Must be available for two or more days per week from Monday through Friday
- Must be available for a maximum of 2-5 hours per week
- Must be available for in person work setup
Desired Qualifications
- Previous teaching or playing experience in tennis is preferred but not required
- USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required
