Job Summary
Weekend Supervisor, RN to lead nursing unit operations in a long-term care setting on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Responsibilities include directing staffing and care delivery, conducting meetings, developing and evaluating nursing programs, coordinating with physicians, reviewing staffing patterns and census, ensuring quality resident care, obtaining medications and records, orienting new personnel, and ensuring budgetary controls. Requires RN licensure in Indiana, active CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days), and at least three years of nursing experience with one year in long-term care. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as an RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing
- Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred, but not required
- Must hold an active CPR license or the ability to obtain within the first 30-days of employment
- Three years of nursing experience, of which one year in a long-term care environment
