Job Summary
The Weekend Supervisor Dayshift (RN) is responsible for supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and other assigned staff in a nursing setting. Key responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing and revising individualized care plans, and ensuring compliance with nursing practices and regulations. The supervisor must maintain open communication with patients and families, manage staffing schedules and performance evaluations, assist with medication and treatment, and support new nursing staff orientations. Additional skills such as leadership, organizational abilities, and the capacity to perform hands-on care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Maintaining a current unencumbered license to practice in the state where employed
