Job Summary
Conduct home health visits in Washington County, Maryland, performing assigned duties including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures. Follow a designated care plan to monitor clients' conditions, reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Managers, and execute doctor's orders while performing client assessments. Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations on a touch pad tablet, manage case coordination, and ensure compliance with state/local mandates. Requires a current MD RN license with one year of recent clinical experience and ability to travel to cases as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in MD
- A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Solid computer skills
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned
- Minimum of two Start of Care Visits per weekend or two visits on Saturday and two on Sunday
Desired Qualifications
- Prior home care experience
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
