Weekend Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including injection presses, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machinery. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime while maintaining and repairing HVAC, chillers, dryers, and compressed air systems. Support sanitation and food safety compliance through equipment upkeep and document all activities using CMMS software. Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets operational and regulatory standards, following up on tasks for adequate resolution with key internal customers. Requires minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting with knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLCs. Full-time role in a stable, growing food manufacturing facility with opportunities for training and advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of mechanical systems
- Electrical troubleshooting
- PLCs
- Pneumatics
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Knowledge of OSHA/LOTO
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Ability to push/pull with force
- Ability to lift and move items >50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work at height
Desired Qualifications
- >5 years of comparable industry maintenance experience
- Familiarity with GMP
- Familiarity with HACCP
- Familiarity with food safety standards
- Trade school certification
- Technical training
