Job Summary
Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, providing security for property and personnel. Conduct frequent patrols, monitoring premises including a variety of locations while enforcing regulations for personnel and visitors. Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Perform physical tasks involving sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and lifting up to 25 pounds. Apply online for weekend shifts with weekly pay, passing required drug screens and background checks. No prior experience necessary; training provided for retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Ability to complete patrols
- Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer)
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to walk up inclines
- Must be able to walk on uneven terrain
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
- Must be able to provide security and safety for client property and personnel
- Must be able to actively monitor the premises
- Must be able to patrol a variety of locations
- Must be able to preserve order
- Must be able to enforce regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
- Must be able to provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers
- Must be able to see, hear, and evaluate
- Must be able to notice potential risks or incidents
- Must be able to be attentive
- Must be able to report improprieties
- Must be able to share information
- Must be able to voice opinions
- Must be able to help if an incident occurs that requires intervention
Desired Qualifications
- Prior security experience is a plus
- Retail, food service or hospitality industry background
