Job Summary
Supervise nursing staff by assigning duties based on census and availability while overseeing medication management and care plan implementation. Perform direct care support, manage documentation including physician order transcription, and lead shift communication through participation in reports. Ensure compliance with infection control procedures, respond to staffing shortages, investigate incidents, and monitor lab work results. This eight-hour daily shift requires an RN licensed in Texas with strong leadership skills to maintain quality resident care during weekend operations.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Texas
- strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills
- excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Can remain composed during emergencies and manage workflow effectively
- minimum of eight (8) consecutive hours of work per day during assigned shifts
