Job Summary
Weekend RN Supervisor provides direct care to residents, conducts comprehensive assessments, collaborates with residents, families, physicians, and team members to establish goals of care, develops and adjusts care plans, administers medications, performs wound care, monitors vital signs, and coordinates with ancillary services to ensure integrated care. The role includes educating residents and families on health conditions and treatment options, offering emotional support and advocacy, promoting preventive health practices, documenting assessments and interventions, participating in care conferences, adhering to infection control protocols, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes in a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where work is performed.
- 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and best practices in long-term care.
