Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care while providing clinical oversight to nursing staff during assigned shifts. Monitor resident conditions, ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented, and verify compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies. Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs, prioritizing care based on clinical urgency. Assist in managing multiple residents and promote a positive work environment through teamwork and professional leadership. Work weekends from 11 am to 11 pm with daily pay ranging from $38 to $60 per hour. No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Rhode Island
- Valid BLS Certification (CPR)
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers
