Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist II in NICU (Weekend Option) at Cobb Hospital is a full-time, night-shift role based in Austell, GA. The RT II delivers complex respiratory care in the NICU, including ventilator management, weaning, airway management (intubation/extubation/trach care), aerosolized meds, ABG analysis, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include patient and family education, staff development, and participation in quality and evidence-based practice initiatives. Requires an accredited RT program graduate with at least an AS degree (Bachelor's preferred), and multiple active licenses/certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.). 0-2 years of clinical experience with a focus on critical care is required. Night shift, full-time role in a hospital setting in Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with minimally 20 quarter hours of science
- Associate's Degree A.S. degree required
