Job Summary
Administer medications and implement respiratory care using the evaluate-and-treat process for complex, multiple problem patients in the NICU. Perform patient assessments, ventilator management, weaning, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas sampling while collaborating with the health care team. Educate patients, families, and support systems; mentor new employees, students, and peers. Complete patient care documentation, promote evidence-based practice, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Requires Registered Respiratory Therapist II license, Associate's degree, and 0-2 years of critical care experience. Night shift, full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with minimally 20 quarter hours of science

- BLS - Provisional
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support

- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider
- NRP - Instructor
- NRP-Provisional
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
- Ability to communicate well
- Critical thinking skills
- Establish and maintain working relationships with physicians and other health care professionals
- Computer skills including familiarity with databases
- Good customer relation, assessment, and communication skills
- Night shift availability
