Job Summary
Lead clinical operations for nursing units on assigned weekend shifts, ensuring compliance with policies, practice standards, and regulations. Facilitate the care delivery model by mentoring staff and coordinating with other departments. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing for safe, 24/7 care while limiting overtime and agency use. Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and make recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations. Work 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays with half-day coverage on Fridays and Mondays.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university
