Job Summary
Weekend Registered Nurse for Home Health coordinates patient care in the home, develops and updates individualized care plans, provides disease- and self-management education to patients and families, completes and submits OASIS and visit notes within guidelines, communicates patient status to physicians and the interdisciplinary team, supervises LPNs and HHAs, participates in SOC/ROC and weekly team conferences, delivers high-quality home-based nursing care, maintains competencies, and precepts newly hired staff while scheduling weekend visits across Cobb County and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or BSN preferred)
- Current licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing
- Valid CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Prior home health experience for PRN staff (optional)
