Job Summary
Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) for Home Health needed to perform adult/geriatric home visits across designated NC counties. Responsibilities include following a patient-specific care plan, administering medications, wound care, treatments, and procedures; monitoring client conditions and reporting changes; following up with doctors' orders; conducting client assessments and coordinating case management; documenting observations and interventions in a state-of-the-art EMR on a per-visit basis; and traveling to cases in the field within Scotland, Moore, Richmond, and Robeson counties. Requires current NC RN license, a minimum of one year of clinical experience (home care preferred but not required), independent work capabilities, strong interpersonal skills, solid computer/EMR skills, and ability to travel to cases.
Required Qualifications
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
- A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
