Job Summary
Weekend Home Health Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in patients' homes under physician supervision. Responsibilities include starting and following care plans, wound care, medication administration, discharge planning, and collaborating with a clinical team to achieve positive patient outcomes. Must possess an Associate degree or higher in Nursing, a CA RN license, CPR/BLS, and 2-3 years of RN Home Health experience; weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) in Oceanside and surrounding areas. Proficiency with EMR (Wellsky/Kinnser) and various home-health tasks (wound care, IV therapy, PICC/Central Lines, Foley, PleurX, Tracheostomy) expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Associate degree (or higher) in Nursing
- Current and unrestricted California Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum of 2-3 years of RN experience in Home Health within the past year
- Experience in wound care/wound vac, patient teaching, medication management, lab draws, and Peripheral IV, PICC/Central Line, IV/TPN administration, CADD pump use, Foley Catheter, PleurX, Tracheostomy
- Ability to chart with Electronic Medical Record Software (Wellsky / Kinnser a plus)
