Job Summary
Conduct daily club audits, balance cash drawers, and maintain cleanliness and atmosphere while monitoring the Planet Fitness mobile app. Operate fitness equipment, stock retail items, and input member data into tablets and point of sale systems. Communicate with members, address infractions, and assist with promotions and community outreach events. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and participate in team meetings. Submit availability forms and maintain certification status. This part-time, nonexempt role requires standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working flexible shifts including weekends and overnight hours. Minimum of 4 hours per month and maximum of 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- AED Certification
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Team-oriented
- Motivated
- Well-organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiar with Excel's mission, values, vision, and culture
- Familiar with the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
