Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac progressive care patients by monitoring rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses while administering medications with clinical judgment. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families on treatment protocols, and document assessments within the electronic medical record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold patient safety standards. Requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and preference for ACLS or prior cardiac/PCU experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in cardiac, telemetry, PCU, or critical care nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtained within a specified timeframe)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (if applicable to unit protocols)
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, high‐acuity environment
