Job Summary
Conduct rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional, and social needs of residents while preparing and administering medications and treatments. Consult with physicians and communicate with the director of nursing and staff regarding resident care. Work evening and night shifts in a long-term care setting with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Requires current RN or LPN licensure in good standing; long-term care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN,LPN) in good standing and currently licensed in the state they work
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
