Job Summary
Weekend Infusion Nurse responsible for direct patient care in an onsite Plano clinic, delivering IV infusions, biologics, injections, and monitoring patient responses. Duties include patient intake, reviewing health histories, educating patients about medications and care plans, maintaining accurate documentation (including labs and vitals), ensuring sterile techniques, coordinating with referring providers and clinical staff, supervising Medical Assistants as needed, managing inventory, and upholding HIPAA compliance. Requires active RN license, 2–3 years nursing experience, infusion-specific training onboarding, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2–3 years' nursing experience
- Willingness to undergo infusion-specific training and obtain required certifications (e.g., IV therapy)
- Experience in IV therapy or infusion care is highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to complete Predictive Index Assessment during recruitment process
