Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, meals) and provide medication setup/administration after training. Maintain resident records, report health/behavior changes to supervisors, and ensure a clean, safe environment through housekeeping and proper waste disposal. Participate in daily meal preparation/serving, assist with activities, attend trainings, and uphold confidentiality and professional conduct. Requires high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months experience with seniors, CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers cards, and complete pre-service Universal Caregiver training. Located in Roseburg, OR; in-person role with weekend on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience with working with seniors
- Valid CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during the hiring process)
- Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required but part of onboarding and training
- Oregon Care Partners training often provided
- Basic computer skills
