Job Summary
Monitor club cleanliness, conduct regular audits, and perform walkarounds to ensure the facility meets Excel standards. Audit and balance cash drawers daily, update member information on tablets, and stock retail and janitorial items. Operate equipment for members, address infractions, and communicate with prospects to promote membership. Assist the GM with promotions, training, and community outreach while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Available shifts include Saturday and Sunday mornings, mid-days, and evenings. This part-time or full-time role requires CPR and AED certification and involves standing for long periods in a fitness environment.
Required Qualifications
- Saturday & Sunday: 6AM-2PM, 7AM-1PM, & 12PM-7PM
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- AED Certification
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer
- Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiar with Excel's mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements
- Must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
