Job Summary
Drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle from 5:30am to 2:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Load and unload the vehicle with appropriate equipment, operate a hand-held scanning device to track items, and conduct pre/post-trip inspections while maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle. Demonstrate safe, courteous driving behavior and adhere to operating policies, procedures, and service schedules. Maintain teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients. Earn $18 hourly with a fixed schedule, company vehicle, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA, 401(K), and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 19 years of age
- Active driver's license for 3 years
- Excellent driving history
- Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift items off storage racks
- Must be comfortable with walking and standing for long periods of time
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Must be available for 5:30am - 2:30pm shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant industry/driving experience is a plus
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
