Job Summary
Analyze equipment to troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on production machines with minimal supervision. Document all repairs and preventive maintenance in the work order system, then conduct regular inspections and assist in machine repairs. Set up new equipment, interpret blueprints, and apply basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and lathe while demonstrating welding and fabrication techniques. Train others on proper repair practices, maintain a clean work environment, and submit end-of-shift reports. Work Friday through Sunday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate's degree in a related technical field
- Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training
- Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses
- Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related technical field
- Basic welding and fabrication skills
- Machining experience with mill and lathe
