Weekend LTC Pharmacist

Job Summary
Oversee pharmacy operations and supervise staff in the absence of the PIC, ensuring safe work habits and security protocols are maintained. Manage daily business activities including final prescription audits, inventory control, and medication therapy management services. Provide clinical problem-solving, interpret prescription orders, and serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, and insurance companies. Handle customer and employee complaints with independent judgment to ensure satisfaction while driving pharmacy sales results. Administer immunizations and medical administration services as needed. Accept final accountability for all pharmacy staff actions during your shift.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Must pass Missouri State Board for state pharmacist license
- Must hold a current license by the state Board of Pharmacy
- Ability to manage a pharmacy with a small to moderate staff
Desired Qualifications
- Certified to administer immunization services is preferred
- Prior experience in retail pharmacy preferred
