Job Summary
Weekend Inpatient Therapist provides psychosocial evaluations, coordinates inpatient admissions and the admission process (voluntary and emergency detentions), facilitates crisis intervention, conducts individual and group therapy, partakes in weekly treatment planning as part of a multidisciplinary team, and ensures safe, compliant care with focus on HIPAA, CPI, and discharge planning. Requires licensure in mental health field (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT/LPC/LISW/LISW-S/LMSW as applicable), CPR, and at least two years of supervised clinical experience; Master’s degree preferred. The role emphasizes weekend inpatient coverage, collaboration with medical staff, community resources linkage, and adherence to safety and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered license in state of employment as LPC, LMFT, LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMSW, or LCSW, or state equivalent license
- CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification
- Master’s degree in a mental health related field (preferred)
- A minimum of two (2) years of supervised clinical experience
